Sarah & James took their love for Halloween and transformed it into the an incredible ‘rough around the edges’ opulence befitting the grandeur of Kelmarsh Hall in Northamptonshire. Add a healthy dose of rock and roll into the mix and you have a party! The wedding car was a fire-spitting hotrod, which we took for a spin after the ceremony, so Sarah & James could have a few moments alone while we took some photos (and boy, could that car fly!).

Kelmarsh Hall is surrounded by beautiful grounds, and it was the time of year the trees turn a burning orange colour. The end of the speeches coincided perfectly with ‘The Golden Hour’, every photographers’ favourite time of day, so we took a walk as the light turned yellow to match the autumn leaves.
Sarah handmade everything; she painted 300 pumpkins, baked an enormous 5-tier wedding cake and learned how to make entire bouquets of flowers out of paper. The creativity didn’t end there, oh no – each element was deeply personal, the paper used in the flowers and the confetti cones came from pages of ‘Silence of the Lambs’ and the table plan took inspiration from ‘Lord of the Rings’.
