Rain definitely didn’t stop play yesterday at Oakham Castle, although we did attempt to break the 100m sprint world record as the heavens opened while everyone was enjoying a drink outside! I had the pleasure of returning to Oakham Castle, a fantastic 12th century building, to see Natasha & Mark become Mr & Mrs Taylor.
They battled through thunder and lightning that was strong enough to shake the roof of the Felix Hotel Cambridge, before this glorious sunshine. Everyone was outside armed with umbrellas and confetti before the rain had stopped – the whole while with these smiles on their faces. That’s my kind of couple! Congratulations Mr & Mrs...
